Last night at 5:45 Steve's wife Diana gave birth to a healthy and bouncing baby girl - 8lbs, 7oz., their first child. They haven't decided on a name yet. Also, as yet to be determined is whether she will be a luthier like her Dad, or a teacher and potter like her Mom. She may end up building Stouffer-style guitars out of pottery! Congrats my friend! Great! I hope that, if you had anything to say to your wife, you've already said it! It will be a while before you get another chance. ;) One of the best things about the 'luthier lifestyle' was getting to spend time with my kids when they were little. It's expensive in terms of the bank account, but no price can be put on that time. And it paid a bonus: the older my kids got the easier they were: as teenagers they were hardly any problem at all. Do _everybody_ a favor: get to know your kid! |
